Honeywell Summer Theatre Camps provide students with 8 to 17 day experiences as they rehearse and perform a fully staged musical! All camps have the support of a team of passionate theatre, education, and artistic professionals. These summer experiences are packed full of fun, learning, and stretching creative muscles.
Financial assistance is available. Please review all information before applying. Deadline for financial assistance is April 28. Review info or apply now.

About Stone Soup: When a group of weary travelers creates a delicious meal from some unexpected ingredients, the gloomy citizens of Old Town ask, "Who ever heard of soup from a stone?" Stone Soup is a story about motivation, teamwork, collaboration, and cooperation. We can all learn from this wonderful tale.

Camp weekdays June 5-23

For campers who have completed grades 5-8
Registration $150
Auditions: Auditions are required for lead roles. Auditions will be held at the Eagles Theatre May 5 from 4-6 pm; May 6 from 10 am-12 pm; and May 15 from 4-6 pm. Auditions will also be available on the first day of camp at 12 pm. Students do not need to bring a prepared solo selection. Students not interested in lead roles do not need to audition, and will be part of the ensemble.
About Dear Edwina Jr.: From the writer of the Junie B. Jones musical, Dear Edwina follows the adventures of plucky advice-giver-extraordinaire Edwina Spoonapple as she directs the neighborhood in a series of buoyant production numbers for the latest edition of her weekly "Advice-a-Palooza.” Edwina and her friends share wisdom on everything from trying new foods to making new friends, through clever, catchy and poignant songs.

The SpongeBob Musical
Camp weekdays June 5-23

For campers who have completed grades 9-12
Registration $150
Auditions: Auditions are required before May 23 for lead roles. Auditions will be held at the Eagles Theatre on May 5 from 4-6 pm; May 6 from 10 am-12 pm; and May 15 from 4-6 pm. Students will read selections from the script and should be prepared to perform one minute of a musical theatre / Broadway song of their choice. Please bring an extra copy of the piano music / accompaniment if possible. Private auditions are available for students unable to make the audition dates. Please contact cstoner@honeywellarts.org to schedule. Students not interested in lead roles do not need to audition, and will be part of the ensemble.
Mandatory days: Tech day Sat. June 17 from 9-5 pm; technical rehearsal Wed. June 21 from 5-9 pm; dress rehearsal Thurs. June 22 from 5-9 pm.
Optional Boot Camp: Get a jump start on choreography May 31-June 2. More details will be announced at auditions.
About The SpongeBob Musical: The stakes are higher than ever in this dynamic stage musical, as SpongeBob and all of Bikini Bottom face the total annihilation of their undersea world. Chaos erupts. The SpongeBob Musical is based on the beloved animated series created by Stephen Hillenburg and features a book by Kyle Jarrow, with original songs by Yolanda Adams, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Sara Bareilles, Jonathan Coulton, Alexander Ebert of Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, The Flaming Lips, Lady A, Cyndi Lauper, John Legend, Panic! At the Disco, Plain White T’s, They Might Be Giants and T.I., plus songs by David Bowie, Tom Kenny and Andy Paley. Additional lyrics are by Jonathan Coulton, with additional music by Tom Kitt. The musical production was conceived by Tina Landau.
