Six acres of formalized gardens along Charley Creek

​Located in the heart of Wabash, Charley Creek Gardens is a nonprofit horticulture center dedicated to the study, conservation, and appreciation of plants, both native and foreign, through garden displays and education.

 

There is no admission fee to the Gardens which are open from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year. Call 260.563.1020 for further information.

There is no admission fee to the Gardens which are open from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year. Call 260.563.1020 for further information. Dogs are welcome - we just ask that they be leashed and that the Gardens are kept clean.

Parking

Parking is available at 518 N. Wabash Street, which is near the hedge maze and the top portion of the gardens. You can take the pathway near the waterfall or go down the stairs through the shade garden path.

Self-Guided Tours

The Charley Creek path is approximately a half mile in distance over a varied terrain. A self-guided walking tour brochure can be found in the visitor brochure boxes in the Wabash Street parking lot and the front of the Education and Resource Building.

Guided tours are available on request.
